While your practitioner will provide instructions tailored to your specific treatment, here are some general aftercare guidelines.
First 24 Hours
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to treated areas
- Do not apply makeup to treatment sites for at least 4–6 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat (saunas, hot showers)
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours — avoid lying face down
- Apply a cold compress gently if advised by your practitioner
First 48–72 Hours
- Some swelling, redness, or mild bruising is normal and expected
- Avoid alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours
- Do not have facials, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure and always wear SPF 50+
- Sleep on your back if possible to minimise pressure on treated areas
First 2 Weeks
- Avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks after aesthetic treatments
- Results may take 7–14 days to fully develop
- Attend your scheduled follow-up or review appointment
- Contact the clinic if you have any concerns — no question is too small

When to Contact Us
While mild swelling and bruising are normal, please call us immediately if you experience any of the following.
Pain that intensifies rather than subsides within 24–48 hours
White blanching or blue/grey discolouration near the treatment area
Any changes to your vision following facial aesthetic treatment
Increasing redness, warmth, swelling, or discharge at the treatment site
